A Fantastic Friday






Hello! This is Kayla and Hannah here with our last update. First off, we would like to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Emma Kron from Kayla and the crew. Today was a beautiful day as always, mid 80's with a nice breeze. We started off the day with a trip to the Marina on the bus. While we were there, we saw some nice sail boats and climbed to the top of the light house. After, we went to Androsia which is the clothing factory. Unfortunately, the factory was closed due to the Good Friday holy day. Luckily, the store was open so we still got to take a look around and buy some cool stuff. Then we went to Sommerset Beach for lunch. Here we chilled and played frisbee. After that, we made our way to the last stop of the trip which was Church's Blue Hole. This was about 10 times as wide and three times higher than Uncle Charlie's Blue Hole. We all jumped off the 15 ft high dock into the water. It was a great swim as well as a great experience. It was also a fantastic way to end our entire trip. Now onto a bonfire with the other school that is staying here and all of the counselors of Forfar.

    That really sounds like a fantastic Friday! What a way to end your trip!!!

    Shannon: Maggie and I arrived home without any problems. She was a good traveler. Shadow sunk his teeth into a piece of my bread and was trying to pull it out of my hands! I'm going to Good Friday service tonight. Tomorrow, I'll make the sweet breads for our Easter dinner. I can't wait to see your pictures. From the final sunset tonight to the final sunrise tomorrow - enjoy them and every moment in between. I can't wait to see pictures!

    What a beautiful end and beginning. All of what you have experienced over this past week has become a part of your being. Make good things happen with all you have learned in the spirit of obedience to your teachers and chaperones, the spirit of friendship with your fellow travelers and the inborn spirit God has given you as you take your place in this world He gave you to enjoy.

    Wow - all the trees and water and sandy beaches look like a dream. It almost seems unreal!! Hope everyone had the time of their life!! It looked like an amazing trip indeed. Bundle up for the cold trek back to "reality"

    Bubba-can't wait til you get home! Believe it or not, it has been very strange with you gone and we all miss you lots! Hope you all enjoyed today, have a safe trip home tomorrow!
