All Day Snorkel Event

Hey Everyone, its Sean and Andy speaking! Day number three in this tropical paradise. Today’s adventure was full of long hours in the water, due to clear skies and 85 degree weather. Everyone is loving the tans we are getting. We got up early and went on three snorkel dives. During the first two dives, we saw the invasive Lionfish, multiple stingrays, all the coral, and a shark to boot. We were then off to our next destination, an uninhabited island. Here we ate lunch, walked the beach, and collected sand dollars and conch shells! We finally set course to the Turtle Reef, where we sadly did not see any turtles. We did get to see many other fish, and swam through tunnels of coral. We finally got some downtime before dinner, and soon we will leave for our final dive of the night, literally in the night. We hope all is well at home, LET’S GO SABRES!!!!!!!!!! This is Sean and Andy, over and out. (Images are hard to download at night, we will post as soon as internet connection is faster)

  1. Hi guys - so nice to hear from you. It sounds amazing - loved hearing the details of all you're doing. What a great opportunity to learn new things and enjoy the tropical culture. We're jealous. Oddly enough, it was 85 and sunny here today too! NOT!!! The backyard and trees are white with snow. It will be hard for you to come back to our weather. We can't wait to hear the stories and see the pictures. We're so happy everyone it having such a good time. See you soon.

  2. Simply amazing stuff to me! I am glad that you are enjoying all the beauty of God's creation with your chica and so many good friends too.

Mrs. McC and Michelle are sick with envy! They send their love and give you credit for the spirit and spunk you have.

Cookie Day hasn't been the same for me without you. Will be going over to ice them very soon into the wee hours of the morning. Missing our chats, mom.

  3. Hi Shannon!

Mangy Moose, Cool as a Moose and CVS welcome dogs so Maggie and I went in to CVS. She was so excited to get a treat. We've been doing a lot of walking in Freeport, but it's not the same without you. It's warmer here than it is at home and no snow. We might visit Reid State Park tomorrow. I'll try to find some mica for you.

I sounds like you had another great time today. Keep applying that sunscreen and drinking that water!

  7. Mitchell...Greetings from the Arctic tundra of North Collins! Snow flurries and freezing temperatures continued today. It feels like January instead of the middle of April. I'm glad that you are having so much fun and working on a nice tan (Mom's a little jealous!).
Take lots of pictures, enjoy the beautiful scenery, and the company of great friends. P.S.-Flyers take Game 3 with a score of 4-2...

  11. The pictures are fabulous! And you're doing a great job on the blog - you're really taking us there. I'm working in an eerily quiet school today - 33 degrees out with a mix of rain/snow. This is about as far from the Bahamas as one can get I think! I'm glad that those alligators, crocodiles, and shark were not hungry when you were nearby. Keep piling on the sunscreen, enjoy each other, and be good to Ms. Palmer et all! Miss you!

  17. Hey Celine.

Today was Bread Day, and we missed you. Joe Ferrari took over supervising the bread rollers, and Sandy and Diane were about ready to kill him after he kept saying stuff like, "Sand, why don't you try focusing on the bread instead of talking so much." There was much cursing in Italian, and it was funny to watch. We had some outside help too, and I think she had fun. We all wish you could be here to put Joe in his place, but we know this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, so don't waste it worrying about home...

    Happy Bread Day!
    Chris

  18. Hi Stelly....

House is very quiet without you..... havent heard any of your stories in days....No drama on the island??? Come on there has to be some. How is snorkeling going? Have you learned to go below the surface yet? Coach Ron missed all of you girls this weekend. They lost 6-0 without all of you (likely)...
